Join us for an interesting exploration of Creole cuisine with accompanying beers from Louisiana’s famed Abita Brewing Co.
This unique experience will be held on
Tuesday evening, March 4th, at 7:00 p.m.
1st Course – Pan-Fried Shrimp and Crawfish Cake with
Blue Corn Grits and Andouille Sausage Beurre Blanc
Beer – Abita Andygator – Unlike other high-gravity brews, Andygator is fermented to a dry finish with sweet flavor and subtle fruit aroma.
2nd Course – Tasting of Oysters
Fried Oyster with Crab Louis and Raw Oyster with
Bloody Mary Holy Trinity Mignonette
Beer – Abita Grapefruit Harvest Ale – A brilliant golden IPA
Brewed with fresh Louisiana ruby red grapefruit.
3rd Course – House-Smoked short Ribs with
Foie Gras Dirty Rice and Creole Sauce
Beer – Restoration Pale Ale – A golden ale with rich body, mild bitterness, and a snappy citrus hop flavor and aroma.
Proceeds from the sale of this beer benefit hurricane relief.
4th Course – Housemade Beignets with Pecan Maple Glaze, Espresso Whipped Cream, and Fresh Berries
Beer – Abita Pecan Harvest Ale – Real Louisiana roasted pecans are added in the brewhouse for a subtle nutty flavor and aroma.
