Buena Vista Winery Wine Dinner

Buena Vista, founded in 1857 by an enigmatic Hungarian Count, is the oldest and most significant winery in the country. Join us as we welcome George Webber, actor, historian, raconteur, and imperial impersonator as he presents himself as the honorable Count of Buena Vista! The Count tells the story and introduces the wines of Buena Vista Winery in the elegant setting of a gourmet four-course meal.


This unique experience will be held on Thursday evening, May 3rd, at 7:00 p.m.



1st Course – Chevre Salad with Greens, Goat Cheese, Quail Egg, Warm Bacon Vinaigrette

Wine – Buena Vista Chardonay, Carneros

2nd Course – Pan Seared Duck Pâté with Buckwheat Noodles, Garlic-Chili Pepper Sauce, Sesame-Soy Braised Beets, Nori

Wine – Buena Vista Pinot Noir, North Coast

3rd Course – Jubilee Hilltop Ranch Filet Mignon, Braised Short Rib, Roasted Fingerling Potatoes, Asparagus

Wine – Chateau Buena Vista Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa

4th Course – Strawberry Rhubarb Tart – Lavender Tart Crust, Strawberry-Rhubarb Compote, Wild Honey Pastry Cream, Candied Strawberry and Rhubarb Garnish
